We are delighted to welcome you to the 7th International Postharvest Symposium 2012 (IPS 2012) to be held at Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 25th – 29th June 2012. It is the first such event to be held in Asia. The world’s biggest and most important postharvest event under the Commission of Quality and Postharvest Horticulture of ISHS is held every four years.

It has been planned that all aspects related to postharvest handling of horticultural crops would be discussed and presented by scientists and experts from all corners of the world. It is a journey and exploration into the world’s most recent scientific and technological advancements. The Symposium will provide opportunities to establish and strengthen international networking with world renowned scientists, research institutions and industries. The programme will include oral and poster presentations, workshops, exhibitions and a technical tour. Post-symposium tours will be arranged to visit several technical and tourists places of interests.
 
Malaysia is a country of diverse and colourful physical, cultural and social attractions.
